Synaptics and Google Research Expand the Coralboard™ Ecosystem
Synaptics moved its Coralboard SL Edge AI developer platform to general availability through DigiKey, co-created with Google Research and powered by the Astra SL2619 with a 1 TOPS Coral NPU. It also introduced the Coralboard SR based on the new Astra SR200 Series xMCUs with 400 GOPS NPU performance and up to 256MB of custom DRAM, targeting vision, voice, and graphics in Edge and Physical AI systems. The open-source Torq compiler provides day-0 support for Google Gemma3 270M (12-16 tokens/second), LiquidAI LFM2.5, and Ultralytics YOLO26.
