BitFuFu Launches BTC-Denominated Hashrate Token (HASH) with Finloop

BitFuFu and Finloop launched the Hashrate Token (HASH), an on-chain tokenized note product offering eligible investors BTC-denominated returns tied to the output of BitFuFu's Bitcoin mining operations. Finloop acts as tokenization agent via its FinRWA Platform, handling token issuance, lifecycle management, and compliance, with the product limited to qualified investors outside the U.S. under Regulation S. Management framed HASH as a step toward financializing Bitcoin mining and bridging BitFuFu's cloud-mining business with capital markets, though no product size or revenue expectations were disclosed.

FUFU: 6-K · acquisition merger

BitFuFu received CFIUS clearance on September 28, 2026 for its acquisition of 51% of Uni-Titan LLC, which owns a 51-megawatt Bitcoin mining facility in Oklahoma, with CFIUS finding no unresolved national security concerns. In connection with the clearance, BitFuFu and affiliates including Uni-Titan entered into a national security agreement with DHS and Treasury requiring the facility be used solely for specified crypto mining operations and restricting certain advanced computing hardware without government approval. The agreement imposes an ongoing compliance framework and remains in effect until terminated by the monitoring agencies, meaning the Oklahoma expansion proceeds but under lasting regulatory constraints.
