Viking Global Technologies Announces VKIN-300 Receives Formal French Attestation of Conformity
Viking Global Technologies' majority-owned subsidiary Viking Ozone received a formal Attestation of Conformity (No. 41506-0) from France's LNE for the VKIN-300 ozone-based medical waste treatment system, valid through October 27, 2031. The attestation, issued October 28 for the VKIN 300 SD configuration, confirms compliance with French standard NF X 30-503-1:2024 following independent testing that LNE's report recorded as satisfactory across biological and treatment-performance assessments. The company says the milestone clears the regulatory path to focus on commercialization with prospective customers, distributors and strategic partners, though it cautions there is no assurance of purchase orders, revenue or adoption, and the attestation does not constitute approval in other jurisdictions.
Viking Global Technologies Announces Approval of Expanded Grid Protection Technology Pilot with Major U.S. Electric Utility
Viking Global Technologies announced that a major U.S. electric utility approved an expanded pilot of its Grid Protection Technology covering approximately 18 high-risk transmission circuits at 115-230 kV. The pilot builds on earlier live-line testing this year and will start in a monitoring-only configuration, with implementation dates still to be coordinated. The utility has made no commitment to purchase or deploy the technology, so the news marks validation progress but no revenue; the pilot can be delayed, modified, or discontinued.
