Research tools compared: what each covers, what it costs, and when we checked
The tools small-cap traders use for dilution research, scanning and SEC filings, put next to each other. Each article says what every tool covers, what it cost on a stated date, and who it suits, including where Signal8 is the weaker fit.

How we compare tools
Every competitor fact on these pages (a price, a plan, a feature, a coverage statement) was read on that vendor's own site, pricing page or documentation. Each article lists the page it came from and the date it was checked under "Sources and dates checked".
Prices are quoted with an "as of" date. Vendors change plans often, so the vendor's current page wins over anything written here.
When a feature is not listed on a vendor's site, we say it is not listed as of the date checked. We do not treat that as proof the feature does not exist.
If a comparison needs a measurement we have not made (how quickly a filing appears in each tool, say), the article says it was not measured instead of estimating.
Tools are ordered by use case or alphabetically. Facts about Signal8 meet the same bar: each one is checked against the live product or its documentation.
Disclosure policy
Signal8 makes Signal8, one of the tools compared in these articles, and we earn money when you subscribe to it. Read every comparison with that in mind.
If a vendor ever pays to be included, or a link on these pages earns Signal8 a commission, the article will say so next to it.
If anything here is wrong or out of date, email [email protected] with the page and the correction. We re-check the vendor's site and update the article and its "Updated" date.
These articles describe software tools. They are not investment advice and say nothing about whether to buy or sell any security.
