Approved reverse stock splits with no effective date yet
134 companies have an approved reverse split with no effective date stated yet, as of Nov 2, 2026. Signal8 lists reverse stock splits from the market split calendar and from companies' own SEC filings. The company is shown for every row; the ratio, dates, stage and source filing are included in Signal8 Pro.
A reverse stock split combines a company's existing shares into fewer shares. In a 1-for-10 reverse split every 10 shares become 1, and the share price is adjusted up by the same factor on the effective date. The split alone does not change the company's total market value.
Why do companies do reverse splits?
Most often to bring the share price back above an exchange's minimum bid price, such as Nasdaq's $1 rule, after a deficiency notice. Others do it ahead of an uplisting or to reduce the number of shares outstanding.
How is a reverse split approved?
Usually by a shareholder vote that the company asks for in a proxy statement. Depending on where the company is incorporated and what its charter allows, the board can sometimes approve one alone, or shareholders may have approved a range of ratios in advance for the board to choose from.
Where does this data come from?
Upcoming and Recently completed combine the market split calendar with effective dates stated in companies' own SEC filings and exchange notices. Approved, no date and Vote pending are tracked from companies' own SEC filings, such as proxy statements, 8-Ks and 6-Ks. Each company appears in one list at a time. In Signal8 Pro each row links the document it was read from.
Is this every reverse split?
No. Upcoming shows what is scheduled now. A company can announce a split or move a date at any time, so one that is not listed may still have a split planned.
